MG's New Journey Accelerates1st May 2009
![]() As your local MG Dealer, we were very priviledged to here the latest news from MG at our recent Dealer Conference held in Windsor at the MG Festival which took place at Windsor Castle to commorate 85 years of our favorite British Sports Car brand.
The standard MG TF135 Roadster starts production this month and this fantastic car will retail at just £13,495 on the road (we now have the specification for this car if you wish to find out more). Following on this year will be a special 85th Anniversary TF which will come in three special colours, with unique decals and stripes and lots more stunning extras including a fantastic handling package which should not only improve comfort levels but also provide even better handling ability (more details to follow).
We were then also treated to a highly confidential sneak preview to the forthcoming MG saloon and fastback range based on the new Roewe 550 (pictured) which should go into production in the second half of next year. We cannot give too much away about this car at the moment, although I have to say, if you are looking for a replacement for any of the following legacy models (Rover 45/MG ZS or Rover 75/MG ZT) or any other similar sized car - stop and wait until you see the new MG 6 range because nothing else will compare anywhere near to this fantastic model range!
A little after MG 6, we can expect to see a smaller Focus sized model range and an even smaller Fiesta sized car too, all promise to be very competitive both in terms of price but also quality without diluting the magic of the MG brand. Keep any eye on our website for future updates... ![]() Photo 1 of 1 Article Last Updated 1st May 2009
