Sterling MG supports the JPK Project14th September 2009
![]() Every year, Sterling Automotive likes to try and put something back into the community in which it trades and in the past this has seen us sponsor or support the Eastbourne Girls Football Team, Eastbourne RNLI and the Eastbourne Lions but this year we became aware of the work of the JPK project and after seeing the hard work and dedication that has been put in since it was formed in 2001, we were really keen to see what we could do to help.
Sterling Automotive customer, Chris Rose organises an annual charity golf day in aid of the JPK Project and we are pleased to be contributing to their charity auction with a free annual service voucher and to their auction with the oportunity for someone to win an MG TF sports car for a weekend.
The JPK Project was formed in 2001 and became a Registered Charity in 2003 to provide a Residential Centre for people with a learning disability for
The Project will consist of 24 en-suite bed sitting rooms to allow for privacy and independent living but will incorporate a communal lounge, dining room, kitchen and activity room to allow for interaction and the building of friendships. The JPK will also be developing a Resource Centre which will incorporate a Tea Rooms, Bakery, Kitchen and learning area, which will give practical training and work experience to those resident and other Students who will still be living in the community.
