We would always recommend following the manufacturer’s servicing schedules to the letter as this will give your car the best chance of performing to it’s optimum and giving you maximum reliability.

 

Most manufacturers specify different operations and checks to be carried out at each service. Wherever possible we look to provide you with a completed check sheet and our team are always happy to talk you through this to ensure that you are confident that everything is up to date.

 

For those who cover only a small annual mileage or who are motoring on a tight budget, we offer our ‘Bespoke’ Annual Service option. This ‘Industry Standard Service’ as recommended by ‘The Good Garage Scheme’ combines an oil and filter change with all of the usual annual check items but instead of automatically changing all filters and fluids, we report back any advisory service items which we feel require attention and give you the choice. This service option starts at just £99 including VAT and can be upgraded to include the Green Optional Extras for just £125 including VAT.

 

Many people remember the days when cars had to be serviced up to four times each year. Thankfully due to longer service intervals and more durable parts, most cars now only require a service once each year. However some recognise the benefit in changing the engine oil and filter between services. The oil which is pumped around your car’s engine is like the blood which is pumped around our bodies by the heart. Cars which cover very low mileage each year or which are used on regular high speed journies can suffer from a deterioration in the quality of the oil in its engine which can lead to greater wear and tear on the engines’ moving parts. You can help limit this by taking the option of the Bespoke Lubrication Service between services for as little as £39 including VAT. Whilst this service is carried out you will also benefit from a ‘Free Vehicle Health Check’ where our technicians will carry out a visual safety check on lights, horns, wheels, brakes, tyres, suspension and the exhaust system to ensure that wherever possible your car remains safe until the next main service is due.

 

Upgrade any service with our ‘Green Optional Extras’ which include an engine flush to clean the oilways and sump of harmful dirt build ups and a fuel treatment which helps reduce emissions into the atmosphere and increase fuel efficiency. As an added benefit, the manufacturer also promises to refund the fixed penalty fine of £60 for any roadside emissions test failure carried out on your vehicle and to retreat your car with the ‘Green Optional Extras’ free of charge.
